These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DualShot Pro Camera application ("App") and the website at dualshotpro.com ("Website"), both developed and operated by Meta Studios Creative Agency K.K （株式会社）("we", "our", "us"), registered in Tokyo, Japan.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by accessing the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.
DualShot Pro Camera is an iOS application that enables simultaneous dual-orientation video recording (portrait and landscape), professional photo capture, and a range of cinematographer-grade controls. The App processes all video and photo content locally on your device. The Website provides marketing information, support resources, and email signup for our Ambassador Program.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App or Website. By using either, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for both personal and commercial purposes, including professional filmmaking, content creation, and client work, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You are free to use video and photo content captured with the App in any lawful way, including in commercial productions.
This license does not transfer ownership of the App itself, and does not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App.
All videos, photos, and other media created using the App are your property. We do not claim any ownership rights, royalties, or licensing interest in content you create. You are solely responsible for the content you record, how you use or distribute it, and for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to record any subjects, locations, music, or other elements appearing in your captured content.
From time to time we operate an Ambassador Program, an early-access program, or a TestFlight beta channel for selected creators. Participation is voluntary. Pre-release builds may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features and are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any of these programs at any time, at our sole discretion.
The App and Website, including all design, source code, graphics, branding, marketing copy, and the names "DualShot" and "DualShot Pro Camera," are the intellectual property of Meta Studios Creative Agency K.K. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any of these materials without our prior written consent.
You agree not to use the App or Website to:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or Website, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of recorded content, missed shots, lost business opportunities, or device malfunction. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App or Website at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App or Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App or Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
